Passenger jet carrying 58 people crashes into a river, killing at least 15 people on impact and leaving many trapped in the wreckage
- A TransAsia GE235 passenger plane with 58 people on board plunged into Keeling River in Taiwan's capital city Taipei on Wednesday
- Taiwanese Civil Aviation Authority said at least 15 people have been confirmed dead, 13 more have been injured while the rest remain unaccounted for
- There were 53 passengers and five crew on board, 31 of whom were tourists from mainland China
- The plane crashed three minutes after take off, 5km from the runway
