News filtering out of Abuja state that the Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo hosted a  meeting at his Villa office today in what is thought to be serious crunch talks. The meeting which started at 11.00am this morning had in attendance Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; the party’s National Chairman,

Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yusuf Lasu, Senate Leader, Ali Ndume; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal; and a former interim chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, among others.

The meeting ended thereabout 2.40p.m. and none of the participants giving away any information of what transpired behind closed doors.

While the agenda of the meeting is not readily available, the Special Adviser to the Vice-President on Political Matters, Mr. Femi Ojudu, announced that a press statement on the meeting would be issued later.
